Who are now receiving death threats.jentill?hunter, dondre eades wore a shirt two days ago his sister gave him... that shirt which he says is something he didn't mean to cause an uproar ended up making him feel like he should go home after being asked to change it- because he didn't see anything wrong with wearing it.

11th grader dondre eades says he's one of a handful of black students at manchester high school.

A shirt he wore making a statement about his beliefs this week... brought unwanted attention.>11:34:58-11:35:09 "it read i hope i don't get killed today for being black.

Within my first class, the assistant principal called me down and wanted me to change my shirt."but eades didn't.

Instead he says he went home staying firm in his beliefs.

11:37:16-11:37:29"i wore the shirt because it's what i believed in.

It's a genuine concern.

The town is 98 percent white and most people just overlook racism."his sister tenth grader marah eades says racism is a daily thing, but now they are receiving threats-- which has their mother extremely worried.

11:30:13-11:30:41"someone behind me will say why is that monkey getting up.

She doesn't deserve help on the test.

It's really annoying and something i've tried to blow off.

I tried to talk to teachers, tried to talk to principals, talked to a lot of people and it's really not gone anywhere."

>11:27:43-11:28:03"i would like to know that my kids are safe at school from other children from staff not all staff.

Just like with anything, there's the good and the bad, the ugly and everything.

It's in the school system and they've swept it under the rug for too long."

The school district released a statement earlier today saying they are working toward racial equality and welcome input.

But dondre says he would like more than that.

11:35:55-11:36:10"i would like an apology from the school because the treatment i received is stupid.

The whole situation should have been treated better.

In the district's statement they are developing a plan that promotes positive conversations and better understanding all students.

Dawn says dondre and his sister marah were escorted today because of the threats.
