Next summer in bowling green.

### public transportation agencies across the state will be getting more than $6-point-4 million dollars in cares act funding.

The governor announced the federal government has awarded the money to the state to keep public transit running.

It will go to 16 agencies serving 79 counties across the state to pay for costs that will help keep people safe including: disinfecting equipment and electronic ticketing.

The money supplements $22- point-9 million in cares funding received in may.
