Despite the changes wrought by coronavirus, Kids Unlimited is doing its best to support kids that need help the most.

Newswatch 12's hailey gravitt spoke with kids unlimited on its plans for the upcoming school year.

ááádual boxááá hailey joins us live in studio-- you spoke with kids unlimited on how it may have additional challenges that other schools may not have to face.

Kids unlimited says its school population has a 90-6 percent poverty rate.

With more than 50- percent of those families having non-english speaking households.

For the c-e-o- of kids unlimited -- he says the education is only one way it hopes to reach its students.

Back in march -- kids unlimited put out 100 laptops and put more than 100 hot spots to help its students with online learning.

It says delivering school supplies door to door was crucial in making sure this vulnerable population of children is meeting its needs both educationally and socially.

C-e-o tom cole says its vital that kids unlimited continues school online.

How do those who have the most difficult times getting plugged in, and i say that literally and figuratively how do you ensure that they don't get left behind.

Because its un reasonable when a kid struggles.

Cole says that spanish speaking translators are available to help the families who come from a non-english speaking household, so parents and teachers can work together in helping with online learning.
