One person was killed and at least 14 others injured when a market roof collapsed during a storm in Thailand.
The woman named Supranee, 32, was working on a stall selling sausages when the steel structure gave way during strong winds and heavy rain in Nakhon Pathom province on July 28 afternoon.
Five people at the market were seriously hurt and nine others suffered minor injuries.
They were all taken to a nearby hospital.
Shopper Thawatchai Jangkhan told local media he was shopping when he noticed a storm with strong winds followed by heavy rain.
He said: ''After only 10 minutes of heavy wind and rain, I saw the roof sinking and many people ran out for their lives.
The area comprising fresh food stalls was hit badly, while other buildings in the market, which spans more than five rai, were unaffected.'' Thailand is currently experiencing its annual monsoon rainy season, which lasts from May until early October.
There are regular tropical storms which cause chaos with the country's infrastructure.
