Fairfield church gives away groceries

A local church is helping people get groceries and other essentials in their time of need.

A FAIRFIELD CHURCH IS HELPINGFEEDFAMILIES."THE CITY OF PROMISE"TEAMED UP WITH SHARED HARVESTAND THE GATEWAY TO GRACEFOUNDATION FOR A FREE GROCERYGIVEAWAY.THE CHURCH STAFF SAYS FAMILIESSHOULDN'T HAVE TO CHOOSEBETWEEN PUTTING GAS IN THEIRCAR OR FOOD ON THEIR TABLE.BUT SADLY THAT IS THE POSITIONA LOT OF PEOPLE ARE IN DURINGTHIS PANDEMIC.people are hurting at alldifferent levels and placesand ocmmunities so we decidedtoday, we've already beenprepared for this time when wewere having in person worshipeven though we're not havingit now.

But we're still doingministry and the churchbuilding is still open.

Sowe're here todayto blessfamilies and cars so that wecould be a blessing to themtoday.FAMILIES WHO CAME OUT RECEIVEDFRESH PRODUCE, DAIRY ITEMS ANDNON-PERISHABLES.THE CHURCHESTIMATES TO HAVE FED ABOUT150 TO 200 FAMILIES.
