Tonight hundreds of people lined up -- to show their support for the family of a 6 year old -- involved in a jet ski accident.

Today -- we learned zachary may-nerd has died.

Around 3 hundred people lined up along 'long street' from sweet home high school to 43rd -- with signs, banners and cut out hearts in hand.

They were filled with messages of love and support for zachary and his family.

There was a procession around 6:30 -- and his family was escorted by a fire truck -- which we've learned was one of zachary's favorite things.

Investigators say a jet ski hit two young children on monday at lewis creek park -- east of sweet home.

Kennedy swen-sin -- is the*other child involved in the accident.

She is still in the hospital tonight.

The linn county sheriff's office says they're scheduling an inspection to find out why the kill switch didn't work on the 20-20 sea-doo spark trix.

If you want to help... there's a bottle drive fundraiser on saturday...for the families of the children.

It's happening from nine until noon at o'reilly's auto parts, in sweet home.

There are also 'go fund me pages' for each child.

Zachary's has more than 25 thousand dollars at last check.

And, nearly 14 thousand dollars has been donated for kennedy.
