With every school district in madison county beginning the school year virtual, parents across north alabama are wondering if other districts will follow suit?

Waay 31s max co-han went to the morgan and limestone county region to find out the answer there.

"as of thursday, only madison county schools had made the decision to start the year remotely...while other districts are giving parents the option to go virutal, some are unhappy with the plans.

Abbie brown says she was so unsatisfied with the plans limestone county schools laid out she pulled her son out and enrolled him in a charter school.

She said her main concern was similar to what parents in huntsville face.

Making a decision before the district gives detailed descriptions of what each program looks like and how they work.

"you're asking us to make a decision and then saying we will get that information to you later, you will get that information from your school.

And all of these people including myself are like you're forcing us to make a decision."

"i reached out to limestone county schools, as well as athens and decatur city schools to see if they had any plans to update their reopening plans.
