The development of some fogacross areas that saw rainlast evening.

Parts of theShenandoah Valley are actualstarting to see some rathersharp, but seemingly shortlived, visibility decreases,so will have to monitor that.Otherwise, generally dry athis hour.

Bermuda Highpressure continues to pump hand humid air into the region.High temperatures againexpected well into the 90stoday, with dew points in thelow to mid 70s.

Heat indiceswill approach, and in somecases exceed, 105 degreestoday.

A Heat Advisory is ineffect from noon until 8 PMtoday for areas along/east ofthe ━95 corridor.

Some areasin that region may even getclose to 109 degrees for aheat index.

West of the BlueRidge, slightly cooler, withheat indices approaching 100.Given this hot and humid airmass, a stalled surfaceboundary, and a potentshortwave moving overhead intothis evening, thunderstormsare expected to develop thisafternoon and continue intothe evening.

Some of thesestorms could become severethis afternoon, given thepresence of 200━3000+ J/kg ofMLCAPE, as well as 30 knots orso of mi━ level flow.

Thisenvironment is very favorablefor some organized severeconvection, taken more of alinear form with bowingsegments.

Damaging winds willbe the primary severe threattoday, but some hail can notbe ruled out in isolatedinstances.

WednesdayA chanceof showers and thunderstormsafter 2pm.

Some of the stormscould produce gusty winds andheavy rain.

Heat indexvalues as high as 105.
