The butte county sheriff's office confirmed late sunday night... there are now 71 inmates at the jail who have tested positive for coronavirus.

That's a jump of 41 in just two days.## police in one northern california city are looking for the person or people responsible for setting a fire.

Officers received a call about a small fire on a bike path near marsh junior high school in chico.

Around 3 o clock this morning firefighters were able to put that fire out quickly.

So far there is no description for a suspect... but if they are caught.

Officers say they will be charged with arson.

### the platina fire is burning south west of ono.

Cal fire issued an evacuation warning overnight for big foot road & old billy choop road... there are currently no mandatory evacuation orders in place.

The fire started sunday afternoon..

Has charred 150 acres..

And is 10% contained.

The hog fire is burning west of susanville, in lassen county.

It is by far the largest wildfire in our area.

It started saturday and has grown to 5200 acres remains at zero percent containment.

A mandatory evacuation order is in effect for the community of lake forest estates.

Also in shasta county... crews are working to contain the gibson fire.

It started in the area of gibson road, north of pollard flat... that's south of dunsmuir.

At last report, the gibson fire is at 20 acres with 50 percent containmnent...bu rning on both sides of the sacramento river.### the badger fire started on badger mountain near yreka, in siskiyou county saturday night.

Tht fire has burned 450 acres... and is now 15 percent contained there still are some evacuations in place in the hawkinsville area... that fire is fifteen percent contained.
