Barbershops and salons have been deemed non-essential businesses by the state of California, so what happens if they close again?

Fears of a second wave of shutdowns has lingered throughout california for weeks now.

Action news now reporter esteban reynoso spoke with a barbershop who is telling people to get their haircuts now -- before its too late.

Cory nichols is a barber with fadez three-o in oroville "we were all getting messages, calls all kinds of stuff trying to get in get haircuts and we weren't able to take care of people."

He posted on his facebook - taking appointments before the next lockdown.

"last time i just kicked back i didn't really mind it."

If the state shuts down again, barbershops and salons may be the first businsses to close "you can only do that for so long and still have bills."
