A 10-ft long king cobra was spotted at a temple in Odisha.The snake was seen at the back of the Jarada Jagannath temple in Ganjam.
Forest department officials and members of an NGO, People For Animals, managed to capture the snake and later released it in a forest.
King cobras have been characterised as a vulnerable species by the International Union for Conservation of Nature.
