Has just released the name of a driver now charged..

In today's deadly multi-vehicle crash that took the life of a woman and an eleven year old boy.

Three other people were also hurt.

According to the sheriff's office..

There were two wrecks on i-64 eastbound near the scott-fayette county line.

The sheriff's office says the preliminary investigation shows that while traffic was slowed for the first wreck around exit 69..

A driver in a box truck traveling at a high rate of speed...hit the car the woman and child were in... killing them.

29-year-old evan barnett admitted to using drugs before getting behind the wheel of the truck.

Investigators say he was also distracted by a mobile device while driving.

According to the sheriff's office..

He's now charged with manslaughter.

The eastbound lanes on i-64 near the scott county fayette county line...are still shut down.

Authorities say there were at least seven vehicles involved in the crash.
