Local artists and even families peppered the sidewalks to paint the boarded up windows that were smashed after last weekend's protests.

Local artists got creative around downtown today.

Fox 55's mallory beard shows us how some of them brushed up the town with some color and kindness after what could be seen as a tough week for a lot of people.

Nats downtown fort wayne got a lot more colorful this afternoon.

Local artists and even families painted over boarded up windows that were smashed after last weekend's protests.

Jasmine christensen has painted for over a decade and normally shares her talents with her family.but after police and protesters clashed in a cloud of tear gas, she knew she wanted to shine her light a little brighter..
