Waay 31's sydney martin is live at the scene this afternoon- after learning the morgan county sheriff's office has called in other law enforcement agencies to help.

Marie- we've seen investigators come in and out of the house throughout the day today.

They're not just with the morgan county sheriff's office but also fbi violent task force members from madison county and huntsville agencies.

Here's what we know right now: the sheriff's office responded to this home around 11 thirty last night after two 9-1-1 calls were received with neighbors saying the heard gunshots on and off for about an hour.

Deputies arrived and found 7 people dead inside the home.

Authorities tell me the victims were found in different areas of the house- and some have multiple gunshot wounds.

A dog inside the house was also found dead "there are pieces of evidence we cannot share that are not appropriate to give out to the public yet, but we still understand what that evidence means.

Based on this what we can share and what we cannot share- leads us to believe the people or person or person are not in the area."

We also know deputies put out a fire upon arrival- but they haven't told us what part of the home was on fire or any damage inside from that i can tell you there is no damage on the outside.

The sheriff's office hasn't told us how the people inside the home knew each other or what the motive behind the killings could be.

The sheriff's office told us they believe what happened here was an isolated incident and they have information which hasn't been disclosed that makes them believe there is no concern fro the public.
