The organizer says the most important part of the event is inspiring people to take action.

New on daybreak new on daybreak... nearly two weeks after george floyd's death, rallies demanding justice for him are going strong.

There was another one for him in rochester on wednesday, kimt news 3's madelyne watkins was there for it, and joins us live now to tell us what many are hoping will happen now.

Brooke and tyler.

A handful of people came down here to the olmsted county government center to share of ideas of how to make a difference.

I spoke with the organizer and she tells me while she was hoping for more people to attend... it was a start in the right direction.

"armed with unity: one nation indivisible" was created by andrea kiessling who wants to take action and bring the community together to talk about what's happening in the world surrounding racial inequality.

I got the chance to speak with her beofre the rally and she was hoping the people attending would leave feeling inspired to take action.

I asked one protester why she participated and she tells me because it'll have a long lasting impact.

She hopes this carries on and people don't forget about "it really warmed my heart and hopefully it's opening up for my grandsons and my sons and even their children to come."

Kiessling tells me as long as people left wanting to take action and have conversation about it... then she did her job well.

No matter how many people showed up.

Live in rochester.

Madelyne thank you madelyne.
