A woman discovered a family of foxes were living in her garden - under her DECKING.

Stunned Samantha Tudhope, 51, first spotted six young fox cubs in April.

Samantha, a photographer and beauty therapist from East Didsbury, Manchester, has been taking pictures ever since.

The fox cubs are regularly seen playing with things they have swiped from neighbours - including shoes and a tea towel.

Samantha said: ''I was cleaning the decking at the bottom of the garden, then all of a sudden mummy fox just came out of nowhere.

"I just looked out of my window and they were all there, all six cubs and mummy was feeding them.

"I did panic because I've never had this before, I've never had a fox in my garden.'' Samantha was also worried about her Cockapoo, Cookie being in danger from the fox so she called an expert.

She said: ''He reassured me that the mummy fox won't harm Cookie and that if she felt that Cookie was a threat, she would just move her cubs.

Samantha has named the mummy fox Lulu but said she hasn't named the cubs.

She said: "They move too fast for me - I wouldn't be able to tell which one was which.

"Lulu goes off now and she just comes back to feed.

The pups are venturing off a little bit now and they play in the garden.'

"I found a sandal in my garden, so one of them has nicked a neighbours sandal.'' ENDS
