SRC Reopening This Week

U.S. Space and Rocket center set to reopen this week

In the last 30 minutes we heard from pat ammons with the spacr and rocket center!

The center is set to relaunch later this week!

This comes after financial struggles caused by the coronavirus forced the center to make cuts.

The center opens on friday-- and we just learned they're adding one way paths to help with social distance.

On friday, the center will open to members only from 10am to 4pm.

It will reopen to the general public on saturday at 10am.

On june 28th, space camp will begin!

The center will be following social distancing guidelines and will ask guests and staff to wear a mask.

Now theyre looking forward to space camp next month.

Ammons "i would say that if you're interested check availability... we can't wait to inspire young minds."

They had to refund millions of dollars in tuition after space camps were cancelled.

Ammons says space camp for this new time period is almost sold out!
