Sportello Senior send-off

CVA football players heads to Utica College

Send-off highlights a football player from central valley academy who has decided to join a local powerhouse to be a two-sport athlete.

Michael sportello, a two-time section three class-b-east all-star is taking his talents to utica college this fall to play for the pioneers on the offensive line.

-- his father told us that he played 6 games with a broken leg!

Wow he is dedicated.

-- not only will he be playing football, he will also throw for the pioneers track and field program.

-- sportello won the class b section three individual title weight throw at c-v-a and assisted his team to a section three title.

-- he is the only male to be in the 1000 pound weight, 300 pound bench, 400 pound squat and 400 pound deadlift club in the school's history.

-- that is a resume.
