Funland in Chico reopens batting cages and mini-golf

Funland in Chico is partially open for people to get out and have some fun in the fresh air while still staying safe.

General manager of funland, scott andrews says they reopened on may 9th to the public.

But only some activities are up and running-- like the batting cages and the mini golf course.

The arcade area including the games, seating and ice cream area are closed.

Andrews says employees are trained on thorough cleaning of the equipment like the bats, clubs, helmets and golf balls.

And the feedback --- he sayss has been overwhelmingly positive.

Cal skate is not open yet.

Andrews says they're currently cleaning skates and surfaces..

Moving things around to create space between games.

They're hoping to reopen that facility in mid- june.## law
