Governor Holcomb calling on state agencies to cut their budgets by 15 percent

Governor Eric Holcomb wants the State Budget Agency to reduce budgets by 15 percent for the fiscal year of 2021.

Eric holcomb says a sharp drop in state revenue was reported in april and now the state is prepared for a continued decline due to covid-19.

The programs that have the largest impact on hoosiers will become the highest priority.

There will be a sorting out of those we want to absolutely deliver high quality services with great customer service but is going to be prioritizing those iniatives that have the greatest impact on hoosiers and making sure we deliver on that commitment.
