The association said summer athletics and activities can resume june 1st...but there are a few restrictions.
Competition is cancelled until school resumes in the fall.
All practices, workouts, and rehearsals shall be considered voluntary for student athletes and activities participants.
And school team and school activities participation and travel to summer programs and/or team camps are not allowed.
On-campus summer programs and/or school camps should adhere to national, state and localhealth recommendations.
The Mississippi High School Activities Association is on board with the June 1st restart, but it’s not always that simple.
