Bibb County School District extends meal services into summer

The Bibb County School District School Nutrition Program will continue its emergency meal service program for students through the summer.

If you or a loved one are having an emergency call 9-1-1 immediately, and do not hesitate to seek medical attention.

The bibb county school district will continue its its emergency meal service program for students... into the summer.

The district will add curbside pickup at 5 locations.

On monday and wednesday's from 11 a-m to 1 p-m... families can pick up meals.

Areas currently being served by delivery... will continue through next week.

And then... starting june 1st... curbside service will expand again ... to include 13 locations.

During the pandemic when children are away from school and they are learning from at home, the need does not change, so in order to make sure we are covering the needs for our children then we are expanding the service and we do it in the community and we are trying out curbside service.

Anyone 18 and younger must be present to receive meals.
