Been getting creative on ways to stay active during the stay at home orderãbut not without challenges.

Action news now reporter mackenzie drigo spoke to a local trainer and joins us live.

What's his advice mackenzie?

Micah hankins is a personal trainer.

He told me he switched all his clients to online training which hasn't been easy.

Getting into a good training routine can be a challenge in the best of times.

But during a pandemic?

I talked to several people about how they've been staying acting during this time.

All of them say they either do online workout routines or head outside.

Hankins says he put out some training videos on social media to help his clients and the public even though he says it makes his job more difficult.

Mi "the misconception is online training is easier but its not, the onlne training for the trainer is more difficult it takes more time more hand hold more coaching more checking more everything and it takes a lot more thought,"' "mainly going for walks trying to go for runs in the afternoons trying to find new places to hike in the afternoons," hankins tells me he cut his fee in half because he thinks it isnt fair for his clients to have to pay for training that isnt in person.

Other people told me they depend on these kind of videos by trainers or athletes to give them new exercise ideas.
