OHA: 2 new COVID-19 deaths, 59 new cases
The economy.
Today we saw 59 new cases and 2 new deaths.
That brings our statewide total to one thousand eight hundred and forty four cases.
Our death toll has now reached 72.
At least 449 people have required hospital treatment.
However....more than 35 thousand people have tested negative for the virus.
Let's narrow our focus now and highlight the numbers from our local viewing area.
Benton county remains at 27 cases today.
Four people have died there.
As of friday four people were in the hospital.
Linn county saw two new cases today.
That brings the total there to 59.
All deaths appear to be at the vet- erans' home in lebanon.
Douglas county holds steady at 23 cases.
10 of those have recovered and two are hospitalized.
Lane county is still reporting 46 cases.
One person has died.
Five people are in the hospital as of friday.
Coos county still reports only one case.
377 tests have come back negative that we know about.
The two new deaths we saw today include a 62- year-old clackamas county man with underlying medical conditions.
