Hoosiers to 'hunker down' for at least 2 more weeks, ISDH announces over 7,000 COVID-19 recoveries

The stay-at-home order, which is extended by another two weeks requires Hoosiers to remain in their homes except when they are at work or for essential activities.

Governor holcomb says indiana is making process because of the stay at home order.but he says they're operating in two week increments for the executive orders,to allow the task force time to assess the situation and make appropriate adjustments, if needed.

He says we'll get through this together, but it takes time.

Plans to reopen parts on the state's economy are underway.

Holcomb says he's working with various business sectors to determine how they can safely reopen and resume operation.

Indiana department of health reports 42 new deaths from the coronavirus.

Increasing the total to 5-hundred and 19.the state also reported another 642 confirmed cases, bringing the total number of positive cases to 10-thousand, one hundred and 54.
