Local pastors and community leaders are doing what they can in southeast fort wayne to make sure the most vulnerable are protected from covid-19.

Hunter tonight there's a facebook page gaining momentum called southeast fights covid.

After seeing numerous people carrying on as if we're not dealing with a pandemic- this page and the people on it have hit the streets with masks and the stats.

Pastor cedric walker says he's seen too many people not following the governor's stay at home order.

And now he's doing something about it.

He's urging others to do the same.

I asked pastor walker how many masks have been given out so far, that number wasn't available but he did tell me three thousand 500 masks are in the process of being made right now with the help of church members and volunteers from the many churches in the area.reporting live jentill neal ... fox 55
