FIRST RESPONDERS RALLY AROUND HEALTHCARE WORKERS

Douglas county isn't letting the rising numbers get them down.

Frontline workers in the fight against coronavirus are showing their support for each other for what is too often a thankless job.

On friday first responders throughout douglas county drove a pro- cessional of emergency vehicles around mercy medical center.

Workers smiled and waved, watching them outside.

Sheriff john hanlin says this was their expression of solidarity during this time where so many are working so hard to keep us safe.
