This was a 66- year-old man from bourbon county with underlying health issues.

The governor also announced other measures the state is now taking to prevent the spread of the virus.

That includes closing restaurants and bars to in- person traffic.

He is also telling child care centers to prepare to close this week.

And, because there are expected job losses due to the coronavirus... he says the waiting periond for unemployment benefits will be waived.

Governor beshear also announced the clousre of the state capitol to all non- essential personnel, starting tomorrow.
