A heroic rescue dog has got a foot infection after helping save six people from collapsed coronavirus hotel in southern China.

The touching video, shot in the city of Quanzhou in Fujian Province on March 10, shows the six-year-old rescue dog named Bei Bei helping search for people with its owner on the debris.

In another clip, the firefighter named Yi Wenbin who is Bei Bei's owner was disinfecting and wrapping up Bei Bei's feet when the dog was lying on the ground obediently.

Jia Xin Hotel, which was used to quarantine suspected coronavirus patients, collapsed on March 7.

The rescue dog found the trapped people in only 15 minutes after arriving on-site, helping save six people in total.

Since Bei Bei worked for a long time, the dog's feet were scratched and became infected.

According to reports, Bei Bei is recovering well at the moment.
