Huge ice blocks were washed onto the shore from a melting lake in northern China.
In the spectacular video, filmed in the city of Jixi in Heilongjiang Province on February 12, giant ice chunks were slowly pushed up onto the shore.
Since the temperature rose to 6C in the day time, the frozen lake started to melt.
The phenomenon, called "Wu Kai Hu" by locals, appeared because the temperature went up and the strong wind.
