LucasFilm Disney's streaming service, Disney Plus, has gained 26.5 million subscribers since launching November 12th.
According to Business Insider, Hulu had 30.4 million subscribers.
Disney also owns Hulu.
In Netflix's most recent earnings report, the company said it had 167 million subscribers worldwide and 60 million in the US.
While Netflix exceeded expectations globally last quarter, it missed growth targets in the US.
Disney Plus' strong showing could be one reason for that.
