Welcome boost for affordable housing

On Wednesday of last week, our first female Chancellor, Rachel Reeves, published the Labour Government’s spending review. This is the process for setting departmental budgets for future years, for both day-to-day services and large capital investments like infrastructure. It’s an important moment, which will shape what government does in the coming years, and ultimately how the country will change.
