Over 1,100 Scots babies born with signs of addiction in five years amid calls for booze and drug services revamp

New figures have revealed 1,123 babies have been born since 2017 in Scotland dependent on substances, with Alex Cole-Hamilton describing the situation as "utterly heartbreaking".
