The bank robbers picked the worst day to hit the biggest bank in this 80’s city. My junior cop character and his grizzled partner were enjoying a decent hot dog when they got a call, which made them angry. A few civilian cars and some light poles had to be sacrificed on the way over, but we got into position quickly and were ready to deal with the situation. The criminals decided to come out firing. They were relying on their machine guns but failed to account for my ability to deliver headshots. I got a few hits, presumably in the vest, while most of their number were dead before one attempted to get away. The chase was exciting and ended with one criminal in handcuffs, I failed to read him his rights when booking him at the station. It’s hard for a second day to deliver the same level of excitement.
