Labour must recognise value of low-skilled immigrants, say Church leaders

The organisation representing Catholic bishops in England and Wales is warning that a new British policy on immigration is downplaying the important contribution made to the country by “low-wage, low-skilled” immigrants. On Tuesday, 20 May, Bishop Paul McAleenan – the Lead Bishop for Migrants and Refugees for the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales
