Man Charged Following Serious Assault, Wakefield

Detectives investigating a serious assault in Wakefield have charged a man.  

Jack Lamb, aged 20, has been charged with wounding with intent and has been remanded in custody to appear before Leeds magistrates today (Tuesday).  

Lamb, of Hillside Close in Wakefield, identifies as White British.  

The charge relates to an incident in Westgate on Saturday, 16 August, in which a 33-year-old man was seriously injured.
