West Yorkshire Police Officer Charged with Sexual Offence

A West Yorkshire Police officer has been charged with an off-duty sexual offence.

PC Jack Blagbrough, aged 31, who works in Kirklees District, has been charged with one count of sexual assault by touching.  

The charge relates to an offence against an adult female victim.

PC Blagbrough is due to appear at Barnsley Magistrates Court on 16 July.

He has been suspended from duty since the start of the investigation.
