Appeal After Man's Body Found in Canal, Leeds

Detectives are appealing for information after the body of a man was recovered from the canal near to Bramley Fall Wood Park in Leeds.

At around 9.05 this morning (15 January) police were called to the canal where a member of the public reported seeing a body in the water.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Officers have been conducting extensive enquiries into the circumstance and are working to establish the man’s identity and are now appealing for information to help identify who he is.
