Police are seeking witnesses after a woman was sexually assaulted in a Plymouth pub.

The 36-year-old woman was at the bar in Jumpin Jacks on The Barbican when she was touched intimately by a man she didn’t know.

The incident happened around 1.20am on Friday 27 August.

It is believed that the victim spoke with several other people while at the bar and that one of them may be able to provide information about the man.

Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information that could help the police with their investigation.

A 46-year-old man from Plymouth has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and released under investigation pending further enquiries.
