Police are appealing for witnesses of a collision between a van and a cyclist on the Clyst Honiton bypass near Exeter yesterday evening, Tuesday 29 June.

The collision occurred at just after 9pm and involved a white Ford Transit van.

The 15-year-old male cyclist was taken to hospital with what is believed to be a non-life-threatening head injury.

Officers from the Roads Policing Team and collision investigators attended the scene alongside local patrol officers and the road was closed for around four hours while an investigation was carried out.

Police would like to speak to witnesses who were in the area at the time of the collision.
