Collision in Helston

The collision involved a silver Vauxhall Viva. An 83 year old pedestrian was taken to Derriford Hospital for treatment.

Officers from the Roads Policing Team attended the scene assisted by local officers.

The road re-opened just before 11.30am. 

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident to contact Devon and Cornwall Police referencing incident 223 11^th June 2021.

Police and ambulance crews were called to the scene of a serious collision on Falmouth Road, Helston.

Officers were called at 8.50am today (11 June 2021) to reports of a collision between a female pedestrian and a car.

The pedestrian has potentially life changing injuries.

The road is closed at this time.
