Appeal to find pick-up truck driver following collision, South Molton

Police are appealing for information to find the driver of a pick-up truck that was involved in a collision with a motorcycle in South Molton on Friday 5 June.

The incident happened at the junction of Station Road and East Street at around 12.35pm.

Emergency services, including the air ambulance, attended the scene.

The collision involved a red Kiden 125 motorcycle and a silver-coloured pick-up truck (pictured) which left the area by heading up East Street towards the town centre.

The male rider of the motorcycle was taken to North Devon District Hospital where he was treated for non-life-changing lower leg injuries.

The road was closed, but reopened by 1.45pm.

Enquiries are ongoing to locate the driver of the silver pick-up and officers are asking anyone who witnessed the collision, has dash-cam footage, or saw the vehicle in the area, to contact police.
