Man Charged Over Stabbing in Leeds

A man is due to appear in court today charged over a stabbing in Leeds at the weekend.
Banokuthula Khanye, aged 24, of Burmantofts Street, Leeds, has been charged with Section 18 wounding with intent and possession of knife in relation to the incident in Rigton Approach, Burmantofts, on Saturday night.
He is due to appear at Leeds Magistrates Court today.
The victim, a 27-year-old man, is continuing to receive treatment in hospital for injuries that are serious but not life threatening.
