Serious collision, A3214 Winkleigh, Devon

At 14:48 hrs on Monday 25^th May 2020, Devon and Cornwall Constabulary were notified of a Road Traffic Incident on the A3124, Winkleigh, Devon.


The incident involved a motor car and large goods vehicle, resulting in serious injuries to the driver of the motor car, a 69 year old male from the local area.


The incident was attended by personnel from the Police, Ambulance, Fire and Rescue, BASICS Doctors and Devon Air Ambulance Services. A 69 year old male driver was subsequently conveyed by Devon Air Ambulance to NHS South West Trauma Centre, Derriford where further medical intervention was sought.

Officers from the Exeter Serious Collision Investigations Unit are appealing for witnesses to come forward quoting log number 0552 of 25/05/20.
