Serious collision - B3213, Two Bridges, Yelverton

Shortly before 1147hrs on Monday 25^th May 2020 a two vehicle road traffic collision occurred involving two motor cycles.

As a result of the collision, the rider of a black Suzuki motorcycle, a 49 year old male from the Plymouth area, sustained serious injuries which were described at the scene as life threatening.

The rider of a red Honda motorcycle, a 54 year old female local to the Yelverton area, also sustained serious but not life-threatening or life-changing injuries.

Both casualties were taken by land ambulance to Derriford Hospital, after first being treated at the scene by the staff from the Air Ambulance.

Local officers, as well as officers from the Roads Policing and Serious Collision Investigation Teams, attended and, once a forensic examination of the scene was completed, the road was re-opened as soon as was possible.

Any witnesses to the collision, particularly anyone with dash cam footage, are asked to contact the police on 101 quoting log number 334 25/05/20.
