Man Arrested Following Assaults, Turnsteads Drive, Cleckheaton

Detectives are investigating an incident in which two people were assaulted in a house in Cleckheaton.

Police were called at around 4.20pm yesterday (12 5 2020) to a house on Turnsteads Drive after concerns were raised for the welfare of two people inside the property.

Armed officers attended and forced entry.

A 30-year-old man was arrested from the scene and remains in police custody, on suspicion of false imprisonment and assault.
