Pritam revealed in his recent interview, "For the same situation of Bajrangi Bhaijaan, I made Channa Mereya. It got bounced from Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and it went to Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Mukhra was the same, but the lyrics were different."
