*Hiatus Kaiyote* have shared their new single 'Chivalry Is Not Dead'.

The band's new album 'Mood Valiant' is complete, and it will be released on June 25th through Brainfeeder Records / Ninja Tune.

The multi-limbed collective are moving ever outward, with their jazz-leaning club dalliances forging new pathways.

Take 'Chivalry Is Not Dead': ostensibly about the mating rituals of leopard slugs and seahorses, it's a vivid, incredibly imaginative piece of writing.

After we did 'Choose Your Weapon', we had to make radio edits of our songs, and all of our shit is like six or seven minutes long! So ‘Chivalry’ was me fucking with the ‘hit record’ formula. I’m gonna write a song that's 3:40 long, and it’s about sex, but I’m gonna make it fucking weird.
