'Heartbreak' gets re-spun...

House legend *Kerri Chandler* has stepped in to remix *Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs*, *Bonobo* new single 'Heartbreak'.

The collaboration landed in the final weeks of 2020, a surging piece of disco inspired bedlam that sought to capture the energy of those late 70s nights.

Racked with a palpable sense of release, 'Heartbreak' is a wonderful utilisation of light and shade, with nagging moments of melancholy set against aspects of abandon.

With his deep disco roots and undoubted house heritage, Kerri Chandler is the perfect choice to remix the single.

Online now, the new remix spins 'Heartbreak' is a scintillating new direction - truly, we wish clubs were open to experience this in its full, sweat-drenched glory.

Kerri Chandler explains...

“First thing is I love Bonobo’s work, so I was excited to have been asked to remix ‘Heartbreak’ for Si and Orlando. We spoke on the phone about the direction that I wanted and felt I should go, and they just trusted me with what I felt as long as I put my swinging beats and vibe to it. We were all in sync with what they were looking for and what I do and I think we’re all happy with the result, I hope you like it too!”

Bonobo adds: “I’ve been a longtime fan of Kerri’s. He felt like the perfect person for this remix. He called me from the studio and played part of the remix to me on the phone. It was so exciting to hear what direction he was taking with it.”
