*Taylor Swift* will release her new studio album 'Folklore' at midnight.

The songwriter's new album 'Lover' landed last year, and was arguably her strongest full length in some time.

Due to play an international tour this year, those plans were left in tatters by the pandemic.

Instead, Taylor Swift has completed a new album - with her new LP 'Folklore' out in a matter of hours.

The cast list is intriguing, too - Jack Antonoff returns as producer, while The National's Aaron Dessner has extensive co-write credits.

Bon Iver also appears, while the 16 track record will be followed by a physical deluxe edition.

Here's a curious collision: Kanye West is meant to be releasing his new album this week, too...

Surprise Tonight at midnight I’ll be releasing my 8th studio album, folklore; an entire brand new album of songs I’ve poured all of my whims, dreams, fears, and musings into. Pre-order at https://t.co/zSHpnhUlLb pic.twitter.com/4ZVGy4l23b
